About
1. What makes my Day?
At the core of all my work I am a Creative Technologist. With the power of coffee and morning pilates I bring a fusion of creativity and tech to each projects. At Day by Design I aspire to push the boundaries of design, filmmaking, writing, and producing.
2. Curate Your Best Work
Choose examples that best highlight your diverse skills. Include a mix of:
- Design: Showcase UI/UX projects, product designs, or branding concepts where technology and creativity meet.
- Filmmaking: Share short films, video projects, or cinematic content where you used innovative tech (like editing software or filming equipment).
- Writing: Include any written work that ties into your technical projects, such as scripts, articles, or project documentation.
- Production: Feature any projects where you managed tech-driven productions, like tech tutorials or live events, showing your organizational and creative ability.
3. Showcase the Process
For each project, break down the process. Explain how you incorporated both creativity and technology, giving insight into how you problem-solve or approach challenges. This could include:
- Tools and tech you used (software, coding, equipment)
- Your role in the project (designer, director, producer, etc.)
- The outcome or impact of the project (e.g., how the final product influenced the client or audience)
4. Include Interactive Elements
As a Creative Technologist, your portfolio can stand out by using interactive or dynamic elements. If the platform allows, include:
- Interactive prototypes or mockups for designs
- Embedded videos of your films or projects
- Links to live projects or websites you’ve built
5. Personal Brand Statement
Write a short, impactful bio or mission statement that explains who you are as a Creative Technologist and what drives your work. Let potential collaborators or clients know what to expect when they hire you: innovative solutions, creative ideas, and seamless tech integration.
6. Feedback and Testimonials
If possible, add testimonials or feedback from clients or collaborators that speak to your unique ability to blend creativity and technology.
7. Organize Your Portfolio
Make sure the portfolio is visually appealing and easy to navigate. Group your work under relevant categories (e.g., Design, Film, Writing, Production), and ensure that each project has a clear description and call-to-action (like "Contact Me for Collaborations").
